This is a 5K road run and walk. Runners start at 8:15 am, and walkers will start 2 minutes after runners. Sorry, strollers, rollerblades, and dogs are prohibited!

The first race was run on September 24, 1987. It was originally created as a prelude to the Pittsburgh Great Race and run on the Wednesday before it. Awards
The top three overall male/female runners and walkers, as well as the top three heavyweight runners (200+), will receive awards. The top three male/female runners and walkers will receive awards in age group categories (No duplication of awards.)
